Colouring Template

Our collection of boy outline templates is perfect for youngsters who love coloring. Print one or more of the templates out, grab some crayons, colored pencils or felt tips and let your child use their creativity to color in the pictures. Your child could try to color in one of the pictures with the same hair color and outfit as themselves or a friend, and older children can even draw a design or logo on the t-shirt. You can challenge your children to see who can complete the most colorful and unique picture! Coloring is fantastic for helping children practise hand-eye coordination and fine motor skills whilst they have lots of creative fun.

Tracing Template

Our printable boy outline templates work great as a template for tracing. Print your chosen boy outline onto some thick white paper or card, then place a piece of tracing paper over the top and ask your child to trace the outline. It’s a fun way to get children to practise fine motor skills and pencil control.

Craft Ideas

Try using our printable boy outline templates for some lovely craft projects. Perfect for rainy days, these fun ideas are bound to spark your little one’s imagination.

  1. Boy Puppet: Print out a boy outline template onto white card, and cut out the picture of the boy carefully using scissors. This is a great cutting practice activity for older children, but younger kids may need help from an adult. Color in the picture, then glue a wooden lolly stick to the back to make your puppet. You can also add extra details to your puppet by glueing on wool for hair, sticking on buttons and so on.
  2. Make a mobile or bunting: Print out several copies of our printable boy outline templates onto different colored paper or card, or print onto white paper and ask the kids to color the pictures in. Cut out each template, then string together using ribbon or wool to make a colorful mobile or bunting.
  1. Create your own suncatcher. Print one of the boy outline templates onto white paper, then take a sheet of transparent acetate and place over the top. Using a black marker pen, trace over the edges of the design. Color in using colored marker pens, then carefully cut out the suncatcher (an adult may need to help younger children).

These are just a handful of crafty ideas, and the only real limit is your imagination!
